Blake Island has a rich history, first as an ancestral home for the Suquamish peoples, then as a logging site, followed by a private estate, before finally becoming a state park in 1959. Access to this island is by boat only which makes it very exclusive and cool to visit. Over the last several years we have boated to this island, hiked its trails and shared this beautiful island with many of our own guests and visitors.
